Job description:

These positions are considered a "contracted employee" position.

Delivery drivers are responsible for safe and timely delivery of campers for customer reservations. Part of this responsibility is to set up the camper upon delivery for the customer so that they can begin their reservation without any additional setup. This includes leveling, hooking up power, water, and septic when applicable. As such, at the completion of the reservation the camper(s) will need to be broken down and delivered back to their home location. This may include the dumping of the black and gray tanks before its return. 

Additionally, a walk-through of the camper must be performed with the customer prior to departing from the reservation location. It is important that each customer knows how to safely and effectively operate the camper(s) in order to enjoy the full camping experience.

Delivery Rate:

Due to the nature of the camper rental business and delivery, delivery can only be charged in a one-way direction. In order to make it as beneficial as possible to our delivery personnel, a per mile rate (one-way) will be paid out to our drivers. However, it is expected that the driver complete both portions of the delivery/pickup.

Current mileage rate will be paid at $3.50/mile (one way).

Additional expectations:

Driver will provide and use their own vehicle for delivery. Vehicle must be a half ton rated vehicle or greater, and be considered in safe and appropriate condition for towing. 

Deliveries are usually no more than 80-100 miles from the "home" location unless exceptions have been made on a case by case basis. Many of our delivery locations are between 25-60 miles from Chenoa, IL.
