Pre-Delivery Inspection Information

Key Aspects of a PDI:

  • System Testing: Technicians check that the furnace, air conditioner, water heater, water pump, and slide-outs work.
  • Safety Checks: Smoke detectors, LP detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors are tested.
  • Structural & Cosmetic Audit: Inspectors look for roof leaks, sealant issues, wall delamination, cabinet functionality, and trim damage.
  • Final Touches: The RV is cleaned, and systems are generally pressurized for testing.

Why a PDI is Crucial:

  • Leverage: It is your best opportunity to have the dealer fix issues at their expense before you sign final paperwork.
  • Transit Damage: RVs are towed to dealers, which can cause issues with cabinets, trim, and suspension that need repair.
  • Avoid Delays: Finding issues on the lot is much easier than dealing with warranty service delays later.

Our Pre-Delivery Inspections are fully customizable to fit both your needs and budget.
